Can our library try OmniReference Desk before we pay for an annual subscription?

Yes! You can start with the Free plan or you can sign up for the Premium plan. The Premium plan has a 30 day trial period where you will not get charged. After 30 days, you will be charged $99.

Why do you ask for my credit card?
Do you store my credit card information in your database?

No. We use https://stripe.com/ for all of our payment processing. In compiance with PCI standards, your credit card information is never passed to our servers. Stripe will store your credit card information so that your subscription can be renewed each year. We typically send out a reminder 2 weeks in advace so that you don't get a surprise charge in 12 months.

How many users can we have?

Currently there is no limit to the number of users that you can have in the system or logged into the system. The only limits have been placed on the Free plan which limits the number of locations to 1 and the number od reference desks to 3.

How long does it take for our account to be created after we sign up?

As soon as you register for an account, you will be guided through the setup process. In other words, your system will be available almost immediately after registering. Depending on your needs, the system configuration (adding locations, desks, forms, users, etc.) could take anywhere from 10 - 30 minutes.
